Sabatier Forged Soft Grip 17-Piece Cutlery Set

I purchased this set because of the name; however it is made in China, not in France (which make a good quality knife). I hand wash all my knives, and the steaks knives had rust stains in about a week. In addition, the steak knives are not very sharp. I am returning the set tomorrow! On the front of the box it says "Stainless steel end cap features the trademark of Sabatier griffin" - on the side it says "Manufactured under license by Lifetime Brands, Inc. ... made in China". I have been using this set for 3 month already and decided to write a review to help others who intend to buy it to make a right decision.
1. These set is not stainless as it is stated. We have always washed it with hand and have taken a good care of them. It hasn't helped,they don't look stainless at all now.
2. Two of six steak knives have broken already.
3. Knives loose their sharpness pretty quickly.

I think it is a better idea to spend money on something else.

These knifes are very low quality. This set shouldn't be called Sabatier. The only thing Sabatier is the name. They don't hold the edge after a few days of using them.
Update: I think I found the reason because this set is low quality. Ok, Sabatier is a name that can be used by several cutlery companies because the name hasn't right reserved. There are many of them made in China but there are also some "real" Sabatier such as Sabatier Diamond or Lion. Still, no all which are made in France are high quality according to Wikipedia. So, buying a Sabatier knife isn't an easy task at least that you know what you are buying.
