The four piece gift set is a wonderful starter set for anyone. I has all the basic tools to keep the kitchen going. It is easy to clean and maintains a very sharp edge.

Bought the set for food prep work. Found it to be high quality, extremely sharp right out of the box. The hook blade is quite useful for peeling. The only reservation I have concerns the ability to hold an edge through use: the hook blade is already needing touch-up after about 2 weeks of moderate use. This is not a serious draw-back, however. I like the handles: slip-resistent, and bullet proof. Overall, a quality set at a reasonable price.
