When the turkey, roast beef, or ham comes out of the oven, this set takes over. The straight, faceted 7-inch prongs of the fork hold the goods firmly while the thin, narrow 8-inch blade of the knife carves slices thick or thin. From Messermeister's Elite cutlery line, these pieces are forged from single pieces of high-carbon stainless steel, undergo a three-step hand sharpening process, and feature classic three-rivet, full-tang, seamless polymer handles. The knife's blade has a shortened bolster so it's sharp from tip to heel and a cook's forefinger rests comfortably on it. Made in Germany, the set comes in a padded gift box.
