The featured product s are 18/8 or 18/10 Stainless Steel. The 18 is the steel and the 8 or 10 indicate the Nickel in the steel alloy. The more Nickel the brighter the shine and the more resistance to corrosion. Most Stainless Steel housewares products are 18/0 and contain no nickel.

You pay for what you get. It was a cheap knife set. Don't expect much. The cutting board is basically worthless, but it is usable.
