I bought these knifes about 2 weeks ago and they are awesome! They are nice and sharp, look nice in the kitchen and thanks to amazon the shipping was super fast. The only thing I would recommended is to hand wash knifes after use to as the instructions say to prevent rusting. Very happy with my purchase and would defiantly recommended these knifes to others.

No more than glorified butterknives with the KitchenAid name,

With high hopes, because of the KitchenAid brand, I purchased this set about 5 months ago. Right out of the package, they were barely even sharp at all. I read all the instructions for the proper way to sharpen the knives, and went to work. The results? Didn't help at all. Knowing that I'm a novice at sharpening knives, I purchased a sharpening tool that leaves all the guess work out of it for you. The results? STILL didn't help. Let me just say, I am beyond frustration with these knives. Today is the day before Thanksgiving and I don't have one decent knife in my kitchen. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and DON'T waste your money on any KitchenAid knives. Unless you want some really oversized butter knives, because that's about all they're good for.

I have wanted a knife set for years but didn't have the money to spend. Good knife sets are so expensive. This item was marked down because the box was dirty. I'm so lucky. They are the best knives I've ever used.
