KitchenAid 12-Piece Target Handle-Natural Block, Red

Only gave this one star because the web site would not let me give it NO stars!

We saw this knife set at the local hardware store, and thought we would give it a try having had good luck with Kitchen Aid products in the past. One of the knives broke within two months. We called Kitchen Aid customer service, as the product came with a "lifetime guarantee". They referred us to another company, Meyer Corporation (first indication I was in trouble), as the manufacturer. We sent the knife in to Meyer, and they returned it claiming that they were not the manufacturer.

I would rate these a 0 if I could. My poor husband got these for a Christmas gift for me. They replaced our starter set we had for many years. Now I wish I had the starter set back- That is just how terrible these knives are. If hell issued knives to it's kitchen staff it would be these!!! They are the dullest things you ever saw. If someone broke into your house you wouldn't even have to worry about them holding one of these knives on you. Even my kids lament how terrible these things are every single time I set them out to use. I have to sharpen them every time to even have a hope of cutting into a steak. Sometimes I really think a butter knife would work better.

Knives do not keep an edge. The tips of several knives have broken off. Difficult to cut with....they're just bad knives.
