We started with these knives, but quickly traded them in for J.A. Henckels S.O.S. High Carbon Stainless Steel Steak Knives, Set of 4 The Mansion knives just don't cut steak, while the S.O.S (aka: Zwilling J.A. Henckels) do a terrific job and look great!

We're enjoying this set of knives (the ones they replaced were over 30 years old). They have a nice weight and balance and do well in the dishwasher. The serrated edges make them useful for other foods, too. We would recommend them to anyone who's looking for moderately-priced steak knives that are also nice-looking.

I was given these knives as a present several years ago. Of course living with teenage boys one of them mysteriously disappeared! That left me with an odd number and not able to complete the set. I went out and searched the stores for these knives, even asked my mother where she purchased them when she gave them to me as a gift. She couldn't remember. I decided to go on line and search and to my surprise Amazon had them!! Love these knives never need sharpening and always look beautiful!
