The GINSU 02410 Lifestyle Series 10 Piece Cutlery Set includes a chef's knife, slicer/carver knife, boning knife, utility knife, paring knife, fruit/vegetable knife, and four steak knives. The knives feature serrated blades that never need sharpening and each polyproplylene handle is textured for a non-slip comfortable grip that is permanently bonded to each blade for durability and strength. Each blade is stamped from hardened tempered stainless steel and is corrosion resistant. These products are dishwasher safe and are covered under a limited lifetime warranty.

The well-known infomercial on Ginsu cutlery features the knives slicing through everything from tomatoes to tin cans to radiator hoses. If you’re outfitting a kitchen in, say, a fraternity house or a bachelor pad, where knives could be used in that manner, or tend to overlook knife maintenance requirements, Ginsu knives are a fitting and affordable choice.

This set is a great value, offering 10 different knives for much less than it costs to purchase a single knife in some brands. The cutlery includes an 8-inch chef’s knife to handle the majority of chopping and mincing tasks; a 7-1/2-inch carving knife for slicing roasts; a 5-inch boning knife for cutting poultry on the bone or deboning fish; a 5-inch utility knife for random kitchen tasks, such as slicing sandwiches or cold cuts; a 3-inch paring knife for peeling fruits and vegetables; a 4-1/2-inch fruit/vegetable knife for sectioning grapefruit or slicing grapes; and four 4-1/2-inch steak knives.
