Great knives, heavyweight yet easy to hold. Very sharp! Extremely nice looking on the table. No food can get stuck in the handle or elsewhere on the knife. Smooth and sleek!

Only complaint they get ugly waterstains on them after washing and this affects the nice aesthetics of the knife. I do not use a dishwasher for them and must dry them immediately in order to have them looking wonderful.

I use Henckels knives for serious cooking projects, but didn't want to put that kind of money into a steak knife that isn't used on a regular basis. These cost only $27 for four knives--you wouldn't expect much at that price. I was pleasantly surprised to see one solid piece of high-carbon Japanese stainless steel alloy. It blends in well with other dinner flatware and gets the job done cutting through thick meats. Some reviewers commented they are serrated--mine are not, making sharpening easy. I like the sleek look of these knives, and think they will hold up well if I follow the manufacturer's directions of regular sharpening and hand-washing/drying.

I bought two sets of these knives as gifts for my parents. The knives are great, and my parents are very happy with them. One of the boxes did arrive cracked. The box is made of plastic, but if you're interested in good steak knives you'll love these!
