My boys bought this set for me from Kohls. It's already showing rust stains, and just doesn't cut that well. It's frustrating, because the set "looks" beautiful, but it just doesn't deliver. Unfortunately I threw away the box and receipt, so probably don't have any hope of returning them. As a last ditch effort, I probably will see if they work any better if I can get them sharpened, but since they are all serrated, I doubt it. I wouldn't buy one if I were you!

Horrible knife set, not for anybody that actually uses knifes for preparing food. All the knifes are serrated so they tear up tomatoes,etc. Not sharp, not sure what they are good for , perhaps sawing through very tough cuts of meat? Cannot chop or mince with these. Farberware should hang their head for this product no matter how cheap!

If there was something else than one star I would have picked it! Got these to give to my husband less than six months ago and they are a piece of crap. The handles are hollow and water gets trapped. They are rusting and about as dull as a butter knife. We have sharpened them, scrubbed them by hand and the rust is still there. What a waste of money! They are on their way to Goodwill as soon as I get something else.
