Before purchasing this set I read a lot of reviews on Chicago Cutlery's other products so I knew what I could expect. This set was consitant with many of the other reviews. The knifes themselves are great quality and feel. The craftsmanship was good but not great(a few imperfections here and there). The blades are very sharp and not flimsy at all, will hold edge with proper care. They cut through most things effortlessly. We havent had any issues with rust, staining or dulling of any sort. We always handwash and hand dry immediately after use(as reccomended).

The Block is very nice looking but it is actually painted and not stained(wich was slightly dissapointing) but it still looks very nice, dispite a few scuffs probably from packing wich for the most part are not visable. No problems as of yet with the poly inserts. Many people have commented on how nice the set looks.
