I bought this set because it was stylish and heard good things about BergHoff's higher end knives. While unwrapping the knives one of tips was completely bent, so that was disappointing. The knives have a good weight to them but the blades are definitely cheap. The block is nice and the set looks great on the kitchen counter, just don't expect the knives to last long. If I had to do it over I would get a nice set of Wustof.

I purchased these knifes for my mother-in-law for christmas. She is a very hard person to please. So when you told me at lunch yesterday that she just loves her knifes and she has never had a really good set like this before, I knew they must be good!
