My old Miracle Blades are sharper than these and do not have to be sharpened every time I use it. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. They have become nothing but a paper weight on the counter. You should not have to buy a knife sharpener for a new set of knives. Even when sharpened they do not hold an edge.

Save your money and try a different brand.

Overall, this set of knives does the job. Although I was expecting the wood block to be a little darker in color. I thought my set was missing a knive because there was an empty slot. I checked the label & saw that all of the pieces were included... there was just an empty slot to put one of your favorite knives in. I found it a bit strange because I could not buy a separate (Matching) knife to place in the slot. Overall, the knives work alright but the set looks incomplete on my counter because of the empty slot.

The set is superb! I got this set due to good reviews and I also own the Advanced Bronze Cookware set to match. The knives cut smooth and are perfectly weighted. The Block looks better in pictures than in person, but its a block of wood to hold my knife set. It does what it should. Great knives!!
