I'm kind of obsessed with finely manufactured items, especially kitchen tools. I first purchased one of these knives on clearance from an outlet type store, and quickly learned to love it. I have since expanded my collection to include many other types of their knives. These knives are amazing, especially for the price! The knife is very sharp and has a nice weight in the hand. The non-slip grip is comfortable. Overall great quality for a low price.

I ordered this as a replacement for one of my other Anolon Santoku's that I gave away as a gift and now I know the difference between the two. This does not have the same weight as the other santoku nor does it come with a plastic slip on. the blade was still very sharp and feels good in the hand.
