Better than Pampered Chef!,

Not all stoneware is created equal! I have many Pampered Chef stoneware products, and I was always frustrated that I could not wash them in the dishwasher (or even use any type of soap). I now have a couple pieces of Rada stoneware and will continue to buy/use it as it is dishwasher safe, and cooks just as nicely as the Pampered Chef stoneware.

After some research, I decided to buy the smaller size of this pan and try it out because, well, ya just never know. One of my requirements for a pan is that it is easy to clean. I do not have a dishwasher. Oh wait, I do, it is me.
Upon opening the package, I was surprised at the texture of the pan. The texture is much like the unglazed bottom of a handmade clay mug. It feels kind of rough and smooth all at the same time if that makes sense. Yikes, is this going to be easy to clean?
Before using it for the first time, in a preheating oven, I melted some coconut oil in the bottom of the pan. I then baked a veg/meat/cheese sort of casserole. There was some baked on food around the edges when I took it out where no coconut oil had been. I had to leave it in the oven extra long because one of the ingredients was taking longer to cook than anticipated. The upside, this would be a good test.
