I ordered this set as gift, believing I would receive a nicely packaged set of knives with Victorinox SOMEWHERE on the box. The knives arrived cheaply packaged, with a large "Made in China" Stainless Steel Steak Knives as the only labeling. They are being returned tomorrow.

this has to be the most generic knife set out there...does not say ANYTHING on the box..in the box...on the knife set..on the plactic...about victorinox...the price went back to $24 ..but I got them at $12...and thats the ONLY reason I kept them...would pay $12 maybe..but dont waste your time at $24...they just were not what I expected...

I found these knives when I was looking for something nicer than plastic for a family BBQ. For just over $20, I got a twelve pack of real steakhouse quality knives! I first saw them at a restaurant supply store, but they were cheaper on Amazon. It pays to shop around. I use them everytime I have company over, inside or out. I can't wait to use them when the family is in for Thanksgiving. They have a large handle, that even my dad complimented. For less than $2 per knife, you can't go wrong. Goodbye plastic!
